When bad weather prevents the park from being operated in a safe manner, Spivey Splash management has the right to close attractions. Georgia experiences afternoon showers frequently in the summertime when thunder is heard, lightning is seen, or it is detected artificially. Pools and pool decks will all be instantly cleaned. Pools and decks won’t be safe to use for at least 30 minutes after the final sign of severe weather has passed. When enough rain falls to obscure the pool bottom and create an unsafe swimming environment, the pools and decks will also be cleaned. They will stay closed until the visual acuity for the bottom of the pool reaches a safe level.

Guests will be given a single “rain check” to re-enter the park within the same calendar year if Spivey Splash must close due to bad weather before 4:00 pm.
